Baby food!

While I have mixed emotions about my baby needed me less and less, I am excited that Joel doesn't need me at every feeding anymore. Okay ... so right now, he's only eating baby food once a day. It is a step in the right direction, though!

To celebrate, I decided to plan ahead and make some baby food - mushy bananas, mmmm!

I am also happy to report that I got this nifty container at Target for $2.04. That's right! It was originally $9.99. They obviously placed all of these containers under the wrong price tag. So, I politely made them aware of it and got the containers for the cheaper price.

  1. How are you making your baby food? Are you using a Breza, or Baby Bullet, or something else altogether?

    1. Hi Marie!
I'm just using a food chopper/blender thingy that we received when we got married. So far, I've only done foods that are naturally mushy (either when they are fresh or steamed), and it's worked fine. Just add a little breast milk or water to thin it out at first. I'll let you know if there are any particular foods that don't break down well. In my opinion, there's no need to buy a fancy blender; that is, unless someone wants to buy you one. :)
